After starting working life as a Civil Service Fast Streamer getting a grounding in strategy and communication, Anna went on to work on the London 2012 Paralympics - boosting awareness of and changing perceptions of Paralympic sport. Following the games, Anna followed a love of culture and heritage into brand development for the National Trust where she met New Citizen Project co-founder Jon Alexander and worked on reimagining the Trust’s role in building the relationship between people and place. After a year spent working in social enterprise as part of the On-Purpose programme, Anna joined New Citizen Project adding her cross-sector experience to helping organisations make the shift from selling to Consumers to involving Citizens. Since joining New Citizen Project, Anna has led on participation and community development work for the RSPB, Historic England and Moorfields Eye Hospital. She also led our Future of Cultural Heritage collaborative innovation programme, and authored much of our Purposeful Participation toolkit.
